ITA. Spesso quando si tratta di interior design una delle cose su cui si può avere più dubbi è l’uso del colore in un ambiente. Eppure creare un soggiorno colorato non è difficile, anche utilizzando colori come l’azzurro e il rosa, come ci dimostra questa immagine che possiamo trovare sul profilo Instagram di mrsjoyclary.
ENG. Often when it comes to interior design, one of the things that one can have the most doubts about is the use of colors in an environment. Yet creating a colorful living room is not difficult, even using colors such as blue and pink, as shown by this image that we can find on the Instagram profile of mrsjoyclary.

ITA. Il trucco è nello scegliere colori non troppo saturi: il colore della parete di fondo, sebbene possa essere facilmente ricondotto ad un blu, in realtà è più simile ad un blu misto a grigio, conosciuto sia come “blu balena” o come “grigio balena”.
Non è un azzurro acceso, anzi, la sua tendenza al grigio ci mostra come questo colore stia bene con le tende color argento-grigie delle finestre.
Piccola nota: guardate come le tende siano disposte solo ai lati, e non per la parte centrale. Sopra quella bella finestra con arco infatti si è preferito non mettere nulla, anche perché inserire l’asta della tenda avrebbe rovinato l’effetto ottico dell’arco.
Il pavimento di questo soggiorno è realizzato in piastrelle effetto legno in una tonalità marrone fredda, che cioè tende al blu invece di tendere all’arancione.
Se le pareti e il pavimento di questa stanza utilizzano colori freddi, non possiamo dire la stessa cosa per i mobili. Il set divano e poltrone è rivestito in una morbida stoffa di una tonalità di bianco caldo e presenta una base in oro.
Il tavolino da caffè ha una base in oro rosa che viene ripreso dai numerosi oggetti rosa pastello presenti: a partire dai cuscini, alla coperta poggiata sul divano e ai numerosi vasi sparsi per la stanza.
Questo contrasto, realizzato con un rosa pastello e un blu tendente al grigio, risulta molto piacevole agli occhi, anche perché il vero protagonista della stanza è il bianco, utilizzato in una percentuale maggiore rispetto agli altri colori.
ENG. The trick is to choose colors that are not too saturated: the color of the back wall, although it can easily be traced back to a blue, is actually more like a blue mixed with gray, known as either “blue whale” or “gray whale”.
This is not a bright blue, on the contrary, its tendency to gray shows us how this color goes well with the silver-gray curtains of the windows.
Small note: look at how the curtains are arranged only on the sides, and not for the central part. In fact, we preferred not to put anything above that beautiful arched window, also because inserting the curtain rod would have ruined the optical effect of the arch.
The floor in this living room is made of wood-effect tiles in a cool brown shade, which means that it tends towards blue instead of tending towards orange.
If the walls and floor of this room use cool colors, we can’t say the same for the furniture. The sofa and armchairs set is upholstered in a soft fabric in a warm white shade and features a gold base.
The coffee table has a rose gold base that is echoed by the numerous pastel pink objects present: starting from the cushions, the blanket placed on the sofa and the numerous vases scattered around the room.
This contrast, made with a pastel pink and a grayish blue, is very pleasing to the eye, also because the real protagonist of the room is white, used in a higher percentage than the other colors.
