ITA. La tecnica del mosaico è da sempre stata molto utilizzata e, a seconda del materiale e dei colori utilizzati per le varie tessere, si può ottenere un risultato esteticamente molto particolare. Negli ultimi anni poi, le tesserine di mosaico hanno cominciato a variare maggiormente sia come forma sia come spessore, arrivando a realizzare anche pareti più tridimensionali grazie all’utilizzo di tessere di diverso spessore.

ENG. The mosaic technique has always been widely used from a long time and, depending on the material and colors used for the various tiles, can be obtained a very particular aesthetic result. In recent years mosaic tiles have started to be more variable both in shape and thickness, designing more three-dimensional-looking walls thanks to the use of tiles of different thickness.

THAI. เทคนิคโมเสกมักใช้มานาน และขึ้นอยู่กับวัสดุและสีที่ใช้สำหรับกระเบื้องต่างๆ สามารถได้ออกแบบอะไรที่สวยงามเป็นพิเศษ ในช่วงไม่กี่ปีที่ผ่านมากระเบื้องโมเสคเริ่มมีความผันแปรมากขึ้น ทั้งในด้านรูปร่างและความหนาของกระเบื้องนั้น โดยมีการออกแบบผนังที่มีสามมิติมากขึ้น เนื่องจากการใช้กระเบื้องโมเสกที่มีความหนาต่างกัน

ITA. Il mosaico è un materiale che viene solitamente percepito come “freddo” (a causa del materiale, spesso vetro o ceramica, di cui sono formate le tessere), non adatto quindi a decorare una parete di un soggiorno, e erroneamente si pensa che sia difficile da pulire a causa di tutte le fessure tra una tesserina e l’altra. In realtà dipende molto anche dal posizionamento del mosaico stesso e dal materiale usato per le fughe. Ma quindi dove possiamo usare il mosaico nelle nostre case? Ecco di seguito qualche idea per utilizzarlo.

ENG. Mosaic is a material that is usually perceived as “cold” (due to the material, often glass or ceramic, of the tiles), therefore people usually think that it’s not suitable for decorating a wall in a living room, and it is mistakenly thought to be difficult to be cleaned because of all the joint between the tiles. In reality it also depends a lot on the positioning of the mosaic itself and on the material used for the joints. So where can we use mosaic in our homes? Here are some ideas for using it.

THAI. กระเบื้องโมเสคเป็นวัสดุที่มักจะถูกมองว่าเป็น “วัสดุเย็น” (Cold Material) (เนื่องจากวัสดุมักจะเป็นแก้วหรือเซรามิกของกระเบื้องโมเสคนั้น) ดังนั้นคนมักจะคิดว่าไม่เหมาะสำหรับการตกแต่งผนังในห้องนั่งเล่น และมีอีกความคิดที่ผิด คือเป็นวัสดุที่ทำความสะอาดยาก เพราะรอยต่อระหว่างกระเบื้องทั้งหมด ในความเป็นจริงมันขึ้นอยู่กับตำแหน่งของโมเสคเอง และวัสดุที่ใช้ในรอยต่อนั้น เราจะใช้โมเสกในบ้านของเราได้ที่ไหนบ้าง? ต่อไปเราจะไปดูไอเดียตกแต่งโดยใช้โมเสกนะคะ

ITA. Solitamente il mosaico viene utilizzato in cucina come rivestimento del muro che si trova tra il piano lavoro e il mobile soprastante; come nelle foto qui sopra, il colore può essere scelto nella stessa tonalità dei mobili (bianco, nella prima foto), oppure in netto contrasto con il resto (diverse tonalità di nero e grigio scuro che contrastano con il bianco del top e il legno della mensola nella seconda immagine).

ENG. Usually the mosaic is used in the kitchen as a backsplash, covering that part of wall that is located between the worktop and the cabinet above it; as in the photos here, the color can be chosen in the same shade as the furniture (white, in the first photo), or in contrast to the rest (different shades of black and dark gray that contrast with the white of the top and the wood of the shelf in the second picture).

THAI. โดยปกติ จะใช้โมเสกในห้องครัวเป็น Backsplash คือส่วนของผนังที่อยู่ระหว่างท็อปครัวและตู้ด้านบน ในภาพข้างบนได้เห็นว่า สามารถเลือกสีได้ ให้เป็นโทนเดียวกับเฟอร์นิเจอร์ (สีขาวในภาพแรก) หรือให้ Contrast กับสีของตู้ครัว (เฉดสีต่างๆ ของสีดำและสีเทาเข้มที่ตัดกับสีขาวของท็อป และไม้ของชั้นวางในภาพที่สอง)

ITA. Una delle opzioni più comuni è quella di usare il mosaico nel vano doccia, magari per decorare solo una parete e qualche dettaglio, come l’interno delle nicchie dove si possono posare sapone, shampoo e altri accessori. Eventualmente, se la tipologia di mosaico lo consente, il disegno può continuare anche a pavimento – è consigliabile però utilizzare mosaici composti da tessere in pietra ruvida o ceramica antiscivolo, comunque non vetro.

ENG. One of the most common options is to use the mosaic in the shower compartment, perhaps to decorate only one wall and some details, such as the inside of the niches where soap, shampoo and other accessories can be placed. Eventually, if the type of mosaic allows it, the design can continue even on the floor – however it is advisable to use mosaics composed of rough stone tiles or non-slip ceramic tiles, however not glass.

THAI. หนึ่งในตัวเลือกที่พบบ่อยที่สุดคือ การใช้กระเบื้องโมเสคในห้องอาบน้ำ บางทีอาจจะตกแต่งเพียงผนังเดียวและรายละเอียดบางอย่าง เช่นด้านในของซอกที่สามารถวางสบู่แชมพูและอุปกรณ์เสริมอื่นๆ ในที่สุดหากประเภทของโมเสคอนุญาตให้ทำ สามารถออกแบบพื้นให้ดูต่อไปจากผนั่งนั้น เหมือนที่เห็นในรูปแรก – แต่แนะนำให้ใช้กระเบื้องที่เป็นหินที่ไม่ลื่น หรือกระเบื้องเซรามิกที่ไม่ลื่น แต่ไม่แนะนำให้ใช้กระเบื้อกที่เป็นแก้ว

ITA. In alternativa potete sempre decidere di decorare l’area intorno al WC con questo materiale, magari creando una colonna che sale fino al soffitto e mette in risalto il sanitario.

ENG. Alternatively, you can always decide to decorate the area around the toilet with this material, perhaps by creating a column that goes up to the ceiling and highlights the WC.

THAI. หรือคุณสามารถเลือกที่จะตกแต่งพื้นที่รอบๆชักโครก โดยการสร้างผนังที่ขึ้นไปถึงเพดาน จะทำให้ชักโครกดูแด่นขึ้น

ITA. Un’altra parete che è possibile decorare è quella del lavandino. Diciamo pure che il mosaico in bagno dà il meglio di sé, ed è possibile utilizzarlo un po’ dappertutto; però consiglierei di non esagerare. Meglio scegliere dove voler concentrare l’attenzione, e utilizzarlo solo in quella zona!

ENG. Another wall that can be decorated with the mosaic is the sink’s one. Let’s also say that in the bathroom it’s possible to use the mosaic everywhere; however I would advise not to really use it on every wall. Is better to choose where you want to focus the attention, and use it only in that area!

THAI. อีกผนังที่สามารถตกแต่งด้วยกระเบื้องโมเสคคือผนังของอ่างล้างหน้า ความจริงคือในห้องน้ำสามารถใช้งานโมเสกได้ทุกที่ อย่างไรก็ตามเราจะแนะนำไม่ให้ใช้บนทุกพนัง ขอให้คุณเลือกสถานที่ที่คุณต้องการให้แด่น และใช้โมเสกเฉพาะในพื้นที่นั้น!

Mobili | Furniture | เฟอร์นิเจอร์

ITA. Oltre a queste due stanze, in realtà è possibile utilizzare il mosaico come rivestimento anche di particolari mobili, come potrebbe essere la parete di un caminetto, o il piano di un tavolo. Un’altra idea particolare potrebbe essere quella di usarlo come materiale di transizione tra una camera e l’altra; solitamente il mosaico da parete non è consigliato da usare a pavimento, sia per una questione di scivolosità sia per la delicatezza di alcuni materiali che non sopporterebbero il peso dato dal passaggio di persone; tuttavia sul mercato cominciano ad esserci mosaici adatti ad essere usati anche a pavimento, per cui potete davvero sbizzarrirvi!

ENG. In addition to these two rooms, it is actually possible to use the mosaic as a covering also for particular furniture, such as the wall of a fireplace, or the top of a table. Another particular idea could be to use it as a transition material between one room and another; usually the wall mosaic is not recommended for use on the floor, both for reasons of slipperiness and for the delicacy of some materials that would not support the weight given by the passage of people; however, there are mosaics on the market suitable for use on the floor too, so you can really indulge yourself!

THAI. นอกจากห้องทั้งสองนี้แล้ว สามรถใช้โมเสคเป็นวัสดุปิดเฟอร์นิเจอร์ด้วย เช่นผนังเตาผิงหรือที่โทปของโต๊ะกินข้าว อีกไอเดียหนึ่งคือใช้โมเสกเป็นวัสดุที่พื้น ว่างระหว่างห้องหนึ่งกับอีกห้องหนึ่ง มักจะไม่แนะนำเอาโมเสกที่ใช้เฉพาะที่ผนังและใช้ที่พื้น ทั้งเพื่อเหตุผลของความลื่น และความละเอียดอ่อนของวัสดุบางชนิด ที่ไม่รองรับน้ำหนักของคนที่จะเดินบนวัสดุนั้น อย่างไรก็ตามต้อนนี้มีกระเบื้องโมเสกที่เหมาะสำหรับใช้ที่พื้น ดังนั้นคุณสามารถใช้วัสดุนี้ที่ไหนก็ได้!
