ITA. Un bagno in marmo bianco e legno. Un concept semplice, ma non così facile da realizzare. Eppure il bagno che vediamo sul profilo Instagram di mio.dolcefarniente è riuscito a coniugare perfettamente questi due elementi.
ENG. A bathroom in white marble and wood. A simple concept, but not so easy to make. Yet the bathroom we see on my.dolcefarniente‘s Instagram profile managed to perfectly combine these two elements.

ITA. Innanzitutto è da notare come il legno sia stato utilizzato non su un’unica parete, bensì in diversi elementi – la parete della doccia, la parete dietro il WC con la nicchia, che nella foto vediamo in fondo a destra, sul piano del mobile accanto la doccia e per la parte sottostante il lavandino.
Questa disposizione alternata di elementi in legno e in marmo rendono il bagno molto equilibrato e piacevole alla vista. Attenzione però: nonostante le venature simil legno, è probabile che non si tratti di legno vero, bensì di piastrelle finto legno.
Sebbene molti non apprezzino l’idea di utilizzare un materiale finto, c’è da dire che negli ultimi anni le aziende che producono piastrelle e ceramiche sono riuscite a realizzare ottimi materiali in grado di imitare l’effetto e la sensazione visiva del legno, mantenendo i vantaggi delle piastrelle (primo fra tutti, la resistenza all’acqua).

This alternating arrangement of wood and marble elements make the bathroom very balanced and pleasing to the eye. But be careful: despite the wood-like texture, it is likely that it is not real wood, but fake wood tiles.
Although many do not appreciate the idea of using a fake material, it must be said that in recent years the companies that produce tiles and ceramics have managed to create excellent materials capable of imitating the effect and visual sensation of wood, while maintaining the advantages of tiles (first of all, water resistance).
