ITA. Spesso una delle stanze più sottovalutate durante la progettazione di una casa è la lavanderia. Eppure avere una lavanderia, anche piccola, bene organizzata e con tutti gli accessori per lavare e stirare è sicuramente un ottimo modo per tenere anche il resto della casa in ordine.
ENG. One of the most underrated rooms when it is time to design a house is the laundry room. Yet, having a laundry room, even a small one, well organized and with all the accessories for washing and ironing is certainly a great way to keep the rest of the house tidy.

Nell’immagine di oggi, trovata sul profilo Instagram di my_best_laid_plans possiamo vedere il lato più funzionale della lavanderia: troviamo infatti la lavatrice e l’asciugatrice, con un bel piano in legno per appoggiare eventuali detersivi o cesti, un lavandino al centro e un’intera fila di mobili in alto per riporre tutto il necessario per questa stanza.
Nella colonna a destra immagino possa esserci un’asse da stiro ripiegabile, che possa esser tirata giù fino ad appoggiarsi perfettamente al piccolo spazio del piano di lavoro, mentre dalla parte opposta presenta una singola gamba che arrivi fino al pavimento per assicurare maggiore stabilità, ma potrei anche sbagliarmi, e dentro potrebbe trovarsi semplicemente il ferro da stiro, mentre l’asse potrebbe trovarsi nella parte di stanza non visibile nella foto.
Ad ogni modo, il colore dei mobili sembrerebbe un verde salvia schiarito (il colore che mi sembra si avvicini di più è un Desert Sage, ovvero un “Salvia del deserto” secondo la classificazione Pantone, anche se quello in foto sembrerebbe più chiaro, ma difficile da dirsi semplicemente osservando una foto), e dà un tocco di pulito alla stanza ma aggiungendo quel tocco di colore perfettamente in armonia con le piastrelle sopra il lavandino e con il legno a pavimento e sul counter.
ENG. In today’s image, found on the Instagram profile of my_best_laid_plans we can see the most functional side of the laundry room: in fact, we find the washing machine and the dryer, with a nice wooden top to place any detergents or baskets, a sink in the center and a whole row of furniture at the top to store everything you need for this room.
In the column on the right I imagine there may be a folding ironing board, which can be pulled down to perfectly rest on the small space of the work surface, while on the opposite side it has a single leg that reaches the floor to ensure greater stability, but I could also be wrong, and inside there could simply be an iron, while the board could be in the part of the room not visible in the photo.
In any case, the color of the furniture would seem a lightened sage green (the color that seems to me to be closest is the Pantone “Desert Sage”, even if the one in the picture would seem lighter, but difficult to say simply looking at a photo), and gives a clean touch to the room but adding that touch of color perfectly in harmony with the tiles above the sink and with the wood on the floor and on the counter.
