ITA. Cosa fare quando si hanno un sacco di libri ma poco spazio dove riporli? Si può scegliere un grande mobile con ante da mettere contro un muro vuoto in casa, oppure installare qualche mensola. Nell’immagine che possiamo vedere sul profilo Instagram di alisonbernier vediamo un’idea che unisce le mensole ad un piccolo sofa, per creare un piccolo angolo lettura.

ITA. Il divano è perfettamente integrato con le pareti laterali, tanto da sembrare essere un tutt’uno con i muri. Sopra la base possiamo trovare un piccolo materassino su cui sono disposti vari cuscini, funzionali per quando ci si vuole appoggiare durante la lettura, ma anche perfetti per aggiungere un tocco di colore a questo angolo.
Le mensole in legno sono risposte a L seguendo l’angolo della parete, e ospitano libri, fotografie e soprammobili. È vero che, per chi non è molto alto, potrebbe risultare un po’ difficile raggiungere la mensola più alta, ma qui credo vengano riposti i libri che non si aprono spesso.
Guardando le colorate copertine e le diverse dimensioni dei libri della prima mensola in basso, mi verrebbe da pensare che questo angolo venga spesso utilizzato da bambini: in effetti quest’idea si presta perfettamente per realizzare un piccolo angolo di lettura da condividere con i figli, per leggere fiabe e fumetti con i genitori.
Aggiungendo un piccolo tavolino inoltre risulta possibile anche lavorare con un portatile o con un tablet, rendendo questo spazio davvero funzionale e versatile.

The wooden shelves are L-shaped following the corner of the wall. On the shelves we find a lot of decorations as books, photographs and knick-knacks. It is true that, for those who are not very tall, it may be a bit difficult to reach the highest shelf, but I believe that’s the place to store books that aren’t open often.
Looking at the colorful covers and the different sizes of the books on the first shelf at the bottom, I would think that this corner is often used by children: in fact, this idea is perfect for creating a small reading corner to share with children, to read fairy tales and comics with parents.
By adding a small table, it is also possible to work with a laptop or tablet, making this space truly functional and versatile.
